the moonshine rod and custom club meets every second wednesday of the month for its monthly members meeting which is held at the trentham rifle range clubrooms which we share. we congregate at 7:30 pm and discuss up coming club and non related club events different events are organised such as movie nights ,club shows, cruises around the country side, garage tours, kids events family picnics , tours to hotrod related buisnesses barbeques,a plenty and good company . feel free to drop by at these meetings or even come along to the American car day which is organised by the moonshine rod and custom club.

Moonshine Rod and Custom Club was formed in 1981 and has Over the Past Few years we have been involved with community events like Christmas parades and the Summer Carnival , Big rides day . we have donated to charities like the : disabled riding foundation 2008 Wellington free ambulance service 2009 The Birchville Kindergaten 2010 Upper hutt Womens Refuge 2010 From the profit made from American vehicle day. We have also run a number of shows in the Civic Center, closed road Drags at Alexander Rd and since 2000 we have hosted The Moonshine American Vehicle Day at Trentham Racecourse, which is held on the first Sunday in February of every year. We currently with a membership of 64 and growing. If you are interested in joining the Moonshine Rod and Custom car club We look forward to meeting you and its a great opportunity to see if the club is something you want to join.
